Pioneering airline, Air Niugini, inaugurates new addition to route network with the commencement of the only direct flights between Port Moresby and Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.

The new service operates every Wednesday leaving Port Moresby at 1500 and arrives KUL at 1930 returning at 2040 and landing back at Port Moresby at 0530 on Thursday morning. Flights are operated by a Boeing 757 configured in Business and Economy classes.

This new non stop service opens up new and exciting opportunities for passengers travelling to New Guinea from Europe and Asia. KUL offers excellent and convenient connections from flights from both continents making travel easier and overall flight times much shorter.

Air Niugini have also enhanced their services from Port Moresby to Hong Kong, Manilla in the Philippines and to Honiara in the Solomon Islands.

Air Niugini offer flights to many of the fascinating and unique areas throughout Papua New Guinea that are not accessible by only other means than by air.

The network international network is flown with Boeing 767, 757 and Fokker F100 aircraft. The Dash 8 is the aircraft used on domestic flights as it is ideally suited to the challenging and unique flying conditions found in "rural" Papua New Guinea.
